Vitus Nagorny (born June 21, 1978 in Mailuusuu , Soviet Union ) is a former German football player . The striker , who played five Bundesliga games for VfL Wolfsburg , was last under contract with third division club VfR Aalen in 2009 .

Career

Nagorny, who grew up as a Kyrgyz German in Dingolfing , started playing football at the local FC Dingolfing . In July 1996 he moved to SG Post / Süd Regensburg , which he left after a season and moved to SpVgg Landshut .

At the beginning of the 1998/99 season , Nagorny moved to VfL Wolfsburg at the age of twenty , for whom he played in the Bundesliga . He made his debut on September 8, 1998 (3rd matchday) bim 1-1 in the home game against SC Freiburg with a substitute for Matthias Stammann in the 74th minute. This was followed by three more deployments and one more deployment in the 1999/2000 .

In July 2000 he joined the third division club Karlsruher SC , for which he scored four goals in 23 games.
