Steffen Schneider (born June 9, 1988 in Haiger ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with SC Waldgirmes since 2014 as a striker in the Hessen Association League.
Career
Schneider moved from the U-19 department of FC Bayern Munich to FC Ingolstadt 04 in 2007 , for whom he played 21 games in the Regionalliga Süd in the 2007/08 season . At the end of the season, FC Ingolstadt reached second place in the table and thus rose to the 2nd Bundesliga . There Schneider played only three short appearances with a total time of about 60 minutes in the first half of the 2008/09 season under coach Thorsten Fink . At the end of January 2009, he was loaned to the former regional league competitor VfR Aalen , now in the newly founded 3rd division , until the end of the season . His debut on February 8, 2009 (21st matchday) in the 0-1 defeat in the away game against SSV Jahn Regensburg under coach Petrik Sander lasted nine minutes - due to the substitution. On April 7, 2009 (30th matchday) there was a memorable 4: 3 win in the home game against Dynamo Dresden when he was to be substituted in the 73rd minute, but the player to be substituted Vitus Nagorny , although he has already left the field had, because of an insult to the audience, saw the red card .
