Vladimir Rankovic ( Serbian - Cyrillic Владимир Ранковић ; born June 27, 1993 in Munich ) is a German - Serbian football player . The right full-back is under contract with FC Memmingen .
Career
societies
Rankovic began his career at FC Hertha München , then played for SpVgg Unterhaching and SV Pullach and joined the youth team at FC Bayern München in 2005 . On March 11, 2012, he came in a 3-0 win against SC Freiburg II to a use in the second team in the Regionalliga Süd . After the end of his A-youth period, he moved up to the squad of the second team for the 2012/13 season and developed into a regular player in the newly founded Regionalliga Bayern . He scored his first goal on November 11, 2012 in a 1-0 win at home against SpVgg Bayern Hof . At the end of the 2013/14 season he won the championship with the team, but narrowly missed promotion to the 3rd division after losing a relegation against Fortuna Cologne .
For the 2014/15 season Rankovic joined Hannover 96 and signed a to 30 June 2017 valid contract. For the second team of the Hanoverians he made his debut on August 16, 2014 in a 3-0 win in the home game against Lüneburg SK Hansa in the Regionalliga Nord . From January 1, 2015, he played the second half of the season on loan for second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue , for whom he made his first appearance on February 6, 2015 in a 2-0 home win against RB Leipzig .
In the summer of 2017, Rankovic moved to third division Hansa Rostock . He signed a two-year contract on the Baltic coast. Under Hansa coach Pavel Dotchev , he made his first appearance on matchday five against the Würzburger Kickers . He also scored his first goal against Würzburg, in the second half of the season on matchday 24. With a long-range shot, he scored the final score of 3: 1. Rankovic also received three ninety-minute appearances in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Cup . Hansa defeated FC Mecklenburg Schwerin in the final and thus Rankovic became the state cup winner. After the 2018/19 season, his contract in Rostock was not extended and he left the club.
In January 2020, Rankovic joined FC Memmingen after several months without a club .
National team
Rankovic played a total of 18 times for the DFB selection teams in the U17 to U20 age groups . For the latter, he played two friendly matches against Italy (1: 1) and Poland (1: 0) in November 2013 .
