The nature reserve Vogelfreistätte Innstausee at Attel and Freiham is located in the district of Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria . The area is an EU bird sanctuary "NSG Vogelfreistätte Innstausee bei Attel und Freiham" (7939-401) and part of the FFH area "Innauen und Leitenwälder".

The 566.3 hectare area with the number NSG-00163.01, which was placed under nature protection in 1982 , extends along the Inn between the core town of Wasserburg am Inn in the north and the core town of Rott am Inn in the south. To the west - in parts on the western edge of the area - the B 15 runs and on the southern edge the St 2079.
