Vogelherd is a district in the West district in the independent city of Hof in Bavaria .

Location and history

Vogelherd is located in the northwest of Hof next to Hofeck and Neuhof . In addition to older buildings from the 1920s, there are modern residential buildings. A small northern part belongs to the municipality of Köditz .

The district is served by bus line 2.

Until the 1970s there was a train stop on the railway line to Bad Steben . At the presentation of the Hof Mitte station, Deutsche Bahn announced that it might introduce additional stops.
