Theresienstein is located in the northern district of the independent city of Hof in Bavaria .

location

Theresienstein is located north of the Mitte district. The Theresienstein is a hill that borders the Labyrinthberg.

history

A large part of Theresienstein consists of the Theresienstein Park, which gives it its name . This was used together with the Saaleauen for the state garden show in the 1990s and was voted the most beautiful park in 2003.

Attractions

The most famous sight in the Theresienstein public park is the farm building. There is a restaurant and an art gallery . In the warm months there is a beer garden in front of the building . Opposite the farm building there is a pavilion , which is also used for symphonic concerts in summer . There are also festivals such as the Environment Day or Rock im Park. There are also many public gardens at Theresienstein, for example the Botanical Garden , the Geological Garden and the Zoological Garden . The latter is one of the most species-rich zoos in Northern Bavaria .
