In 1976 the bank merged with the savings and loan association Schwicheldt , in 1986 with Volksbank Edemissen and in 1994 with Volksbank Lahstedt . On January 1, 2016, Volksbank Peine was merged with Volksbank Braunschweig Wolfsburg (Volksbank BraWo).
