Władysław Denhoff (* July 27, 1639 , † October 7, 1683 in Parkan ) was castellan of Kulm , voivode of Pomerania , treasurer of Royal Prussia .

Count Władysław Denhoff came from the Dönhoff family and was a son of Count Gerhard Dönhoff († 1648) and Duchess Sibylle Margarethe von Brieg († 1657). He was married to Joanna Konstancja Sluszka († 1733), with whom he had a daughter and son, Count Stanislaw Ernest Denhoff († 1728).

Life

Denhoff was Colonel in command of a regiment on foot in 1664 , then in command of the royal guard.

In 1668 he was treasurer , in 1677 castellan of Kulm and the same year voivode in Pomerania , then treasurer in the Duchy of Prussia and in 1679 Starost von Berent , Skarszew and Lignowski.

From 1671 to 1676 Denhoff was a member of the Sejm for the province of Pomerania. He was also an advisor to Johann III. Sobieskis , especially on Baltic issues.

He took part in many campaigns in the border areas of Poland-Lithuania , as well as in the battle on Kahlenberg , but then stayed in the field in the battle of Párkány .

Denhoff was buried in the family chapel in Jasna Góra .
