The WWF Light Heavyweight Championship was a light heavyweight title of the wrestling organization WWE and was only awarded to wrestlers with a maximum weight of 97.5 kg (215 lbs ). The title was then discontinued and replaced by the WCW Cruiserweight Championship . The WWE then adopted the WCW Cruiserweight Championship as its own version of the Cruiserweight Championship and discontinued the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship .
