The Borna I constituency was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. It had constituency number 14. For the state elections in 1994 , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the Borna I constituency was divided between the Leipziger Land 1 and 2 constituencies.
The constituency comprised the following communities and towns in the Borna district : Audigast , Auligk , Berndorf , Böhlen , Borna , Breunsdorf , Deutzen , Elstertrebnitz , Espenhain , Groitzsch , Großstolpen , Großzössen , Heuersdorf , Kahnsdorf , Lippendorf-Kieritzsch , Lobstädt , Neukieritzausch , Neukirchen , Pegstädt , Ramsdorf , Regis-Breitingen , Rötha , Rüssen-Kleinstorkwitz , Thräna , Wiederau and Zedtlitz .
