Wal Fall (born September 8, 1992 in Frankfurt a. M. ) is a German - Senegalese football player who is primarily used in defense as a central defender , but can also act as a defensive midfielder .
Career
Wal Fall played in his youth for SV Bonames , SG Höchst , VfB Unterliederbach and for the C-youth of SV Wehen Wiesbaden . After a year he moved to the B youth team of 1. FSV Mainz 05 , with whom he played in the U-17 Bundesliga in the 2008/09 season . There he came to 19 missions and scored three goals.
In the summer of 2009 he returned to SV Wehen Wiesbaden, as he should no longer be considered after the Mainz team was relegated. There he was used on November 20, 2011 for the first time in the second team in the Regionalliga Süd . Due to his positive development, he denied the preparation for the second half of the season in Andalusia with the professional team during the 2010/11 winter break and was able to convince coach Gino Lettieri . Although still eligible to play for the U-19s, Fall made his debut for the professional team in the 3rd division on February 11, 2011, the 24th matchday of the season, in the home game against Eintracht Braunschweig (0: 2) in the 2010/11 season Starting XI.
In the summer of 2011, Fall moved to the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg in the Regionalliga Süd, for which he made his debut on August 8, 2011 under Michael Wiesinger in the game against the second team of FC Bayern Munich and then developed into a regular player.
At the end of August 2012, the regional league team SV Waldhof Mannheim signed Fall. He signed a one-year contract until the end of June 2013. There he was a regular player, but fell out for a few months at the end of 2012 due to a torn ligament .
For the 2013/14 season , Fall moved to the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau and in the summer of 2015 to BSV Rehden . Since 2016 he has played for the Rochester Rhinos in the United States .

Private
Wal Fall comes from a family of athletes. His cousin is the American professional soccer player Jermaine Jones . His uncle Malick Fall (* 1968) was a player in the French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in the 1980s and 1990s and his father Dennis Sr. was a basketball player in Senegal in the 1960s .
