The Waller Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Langwedel in the Verden district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 133 is 25 hectares in size. It is located north of Völkersen on the edge of the Spanger Holz and protects an upland moor area that has been changed by drainage and peat extraction. The moor is supposed to regenerate by rewetting .
In the north of the area mainly birch and pine trees grow, while in the western area besides pipe grass and bell heather there are also moor lily, lung gentian, rosemary heather and orchids. The moorland is bordered in the west, south and east by extensively used grassland , which shields the nature reserve from the agricultural land bordering it in the south and west . In the east there are smaller ponds in the nature reserve. The moorland drains to the Aller .
The area has been a nature reserve since December 16, 1985. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Verden.
