Walt Conti

Walter "Walt" Conti (born April 14, 1959 ) film technician who specializes in visual effects .

Life

Conti studied about Phi Beta Kappa at the Stanford University Engineering with emphasis on design and graduated with a Master of Science degree. He was then involved in the development and design of consumer goods and medical devices.

Conti is the founder and CEO of Edge Innovations .

His greatest success so far was the disaster film Der Sturm by director Wolfgang Petersen , for which he and his colleagues Stefen Fangmeier , John Frazier , Habib Zargarpour and Tim Alexander received the BAFTA Award and was nominated for an Oscar, each in the category Best Visual Effects .
