Walter Münch

Walter Münch (born November 29, 1911 in Göppingen ; † June 23, 1992 in Wangen im Allgäu ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Career

Walter Münch attended the elementary school in Schelklingen , the secondary school in Blaubeuren and the upper secondary school in Ulm . He then studied political science, law and economics in Tübingen , Munich , Salzburg , Königsberg and Berlin . During his studies he became a member of the Catholic student association KStV Alamannia Tübingen . After his first state examination in law, he worked as a court trainee in Ulm from 1935 to 1938, interrupted several times by military service. In 1938 and 1939 he worked as a lawyer in Ulm and passed the major state examination in 1939. In 1939 he became a government assessor and in 1942 a councilor at the Tettnang district office , interrupted from 1940 to 1945 by military service. In 1943 he received his doctorate in Graz . After returning from French captivity , he worked for the district offices of Tettnang and Rottweil .

From 1949 to 1972 Münch was district administrator for the district of Wangen .

From 1981 to 1985 he was a member of the Advisory Board of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation .
