Wander Over Yonder (Original title: Walking Over Yonder ) is an American animated television series , the animation was produced from 2013 to 2016 by Disney Television. The series was developed by Craig McCracken. The first episode was shown as a preview on August 16, 2013. The regular broadcast took place from September 13, 2013 on the US Disney Channel . On February 18, 2014 it was announced that "Wander Over Yonder" would be airing on Disney XD from spring 2014 . The pay TV start of the series in Germany was August 4, 2014 on Disney XD , and July 18, 2015 on free TV on Disney Channel .

They called him Wander and was developed by Craig McCracken , who previously created the animated series Powerpuff Girls and Foster's House for Imaginative Friends. He is also the executive producer. Lauren Faust serves as co-producer and story editor. It is McCracken's first TV series outside of Cartoon Network and his first animated series for the Disney Channel, and later for Disney XD .
In 2012, a sneak peek about the series was published at Comic-Con . The first trailer for Wander Over Yonder aired on July 19, 2013 during the premiere of the film Teen Beach Movie on Disney Channel . On August 16, 2013, the first episode of Wander Over Yonder entitled "The Picnic" aired after the premiere of the film Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel on Disney Channel.

The series "They called him Wander" is about the permanently optimistic Wander and his stubborn load horse Sylvia, who travel together through the galaxy, always with the aim of teaching people fun and joie de vivre and against the oppression of Lord Hater and his Enforce watchdogs.

Wander is very optimistic and friendly. He strives to explore different worlds, on the one hand to discover new things, on the other hand to teach the residents fun and joie de vivre, and how they can assert themselves against the oppression of Lord Hater and his watchdogs. Wander is a small, orange, furry creature whose nature is indefinite. He has large, expressive eyes with black pupils. He has three black whiskers on his chin. He also usually wears a green hat with a black stripe on which is a star that protrudes beyond the edge of the stripe. The inside of his hat also appears to be black. He wears light blue shoes with white metal pins and a black stripe in the middle of his shoes. Wander is very nice and fun-loving and often smiles. Due to his positive nature and conviction, Wander often does not see the danger he is putting himself into and the aggressive nature of Lord Hater.
Sylvia is Wanderer's loyal but stubborn packhorse and his best friend. Together they explore the universe and fight Lord Hater. She loves to fight, and while it makes her feel bad and reckless, it also has a soft side. Even so, she has a certain skepticism about defeating Lord Hater and describes Wander as crazy. Sylvia is blue and has a long neck, short arms and large, expressive eyes. She has black reins wrapped around her mouth and her hair is light pink, just like the tuft at the tip of the tail. Despite the frequent use of Sylvias as a wanderer's "horse", she is actually a "Zbornak", which is more of a dragon than a horse.
Lord Hater is a power-hungry, evil and cruel dictator and conqueror. He owns an empire that he is constantly expanding and gets help from his henchman Peepers and his henchmen, whom he calls watchdogs. Lord Hater is a skeletal being and wears a red robe. What he most desires is absolute rule of the entire universe under his fist, and rarely does anyone stand in his way. He also doesn't like Wander because he's the physical opposite of him. This includes Wander's excessive optimism and forgetfulness. He has a spider-like pet named Captain Tim that Wander and Sylvia gave him.
Commander Peepers is Lord Hater's favorite henchman and does anything for him. Sometimes he is smarter than Lord Hater, after which he is often ignored by him.
Minor characters
The watchdogs are small creatures with a single, large eyeball for their head and body. They serve Lord Hater and are his henchmen who make up much of his army. The Watchdogs are loyal to Lord Hater, but are often distracted by Wander's interference.
Emperor Awesome is an old cocky and extravagant shark-like man. His greatest enemy is Lord Hater; like him, he too conquers the universe. He has his own minions whom he calls "The Fist Fighters".
King Bingleborp is the ruler of the planet "Binglebop".
Fleeblebort is a green, duck-like creature. Wander helped him declare his beloved Marsha's wedding.
Captain Tim is a spider-like being. Wander discovered it in an abandoned spaceship and gave it to Lord Hater.
Badlands Dan is a former villain who lives on the planet Doomstone. (Now called "Congenial Rock".)
Papa Doom is a former, evil gang boss on "Doomstone".
Prince Cashmere is the brave prince from the planet "Baaaaa-halla" and is the leader of his strong army of goats. He first appeared in the episode "The Troll," where Wander and Sylvia helped him defeat a disgusting troll.
Westley the Watchdog is the smallest watchdog cadet and is friends with Wander and Sylvia.
Beeza is the leader of a species whose planet is being destroyed by Buster the giant dog.
