The Warnsdorfer Hütte is an Alpine Club hut of the Warnsdorf-Krimml section of the Austrian Alpine Club .

The Warnsdorfer Hütte is located at 2336  m (according to other information 2324  m ) above sea level west of the Großvenediger in Salzburg in Austria .

History

In 2004/05 the construction work for the drinking water supply was completed.

Ascent

From Krimml, the path first leads along the Krimmler waterfalls into the now flatter Krimmler Achental and further, past the Krimmler Tauernhaus , to the Inner Keesalm ( 1804  m ), up to here also with the mountain taxi from Krimml. Luggage can be transported from the Inner Keesalm by material cable car. The total walking time is around 6 hours.

Furthermore, the hut is an important base for long-distance hikers on the Central Alpine Trail .
