action

Kolak, Kalle and Foreman Horst work for the building contractor Werner Wiesenkamp, who runs a small construction company in the Ruhr area . Wiesenkamp is an entrepreneur who is not so strict about laws and payment practices. Kolak, Kalle and Horst advise their boss to look for another worker on the " Polenstrich anne Autobahn". There are illegal workers from Eastern Europe to offer their cheap labor. Wiesenkamp also hires the young architecture student Philipp, who needs proof of an internship , as an additional worker .

Philipp is regularly pummeled by foreman Kalle because as an "artist" he has no idea of the "real work". When the Polish illegal worker “Marek” appears, he is supposed to wall up and Philipp is sent to fetch beer. As he has just left the excavation, he hears screams and excitement and hurries back.

To his horror he sees the motionless Marek lying in his own blood. The others tell him that Marek fell from the scaffolding that Philip was supposed to secure. Philipp, who sees himself as the culprit for Marek's injury, runs to call the ambulance. A short time later the ambulance arrives. Any evidence of the accident and Marek himself have disappeared. The rescue workers leave angrily and the three construction workers insult Philipp. They tell him that if the whole thing came out they would be in considerable trouble. Then Wiesenkamp comes to the construction site and brings hush money for the construction workers. He's also paying a few thousand if they make Marek's body disappear. Horst suggests chopping up the body with a circular saw and setting it in concrete on the construction site. In the meantime, Philipp is on the go. When he comes back, several packages are being set in concrete. Then everyone gets drunk. The three tell Philipp that the Pole was still alive when they put him on the saw. When Marek comes out of the Dixiklo, Philipp is close to madness and vomits. Kolak, Kalle, Horst and “Marek” huddle with laughter. Marek is actually called Dieter and is Horst's brother-in-law. The whole deception was staged to rip off the stingy Wiesenkamp. The money should then be shared.
