The 170 meter long weir footbridge is a pedestrian bridge over the Isar in Munich .

The footbridge runs over a weir that connects Museum Island and Prater Island . Water can be drained from the Great Isar into the Small Isar through ten weir openings . The footbridge that exists today was built in 1966. Directly at the northern end of the bridge, the Mariannenbrücke and the Kabelsteg connect the Praterinsel with the west and east banks of the Isar.
