Weichhaus is an unofficial part of the municipality of Pommersfelden in the Upper Franconian district of Bamberg .

geography

The wasteland, which consists of two buildings, is located in the Weich forest area . Immediately to the southwest is the Goldberg ( 302  m above sea level ). In the west, the soft ditch , Bollenleite and Laub land areas border . An agricultural traffic route leads to a community road about one kilometer southeast of Pommersfelden.

history

When the house numbers were assigned at the end of the 18th century, the property was given house number 79 from Pommersfelden. At that time Pommersfelden consisted of only 79 properties. Since the house numbering was done according to their age, it can be concluded that it was founded around this time. It served as a hunter's house and was originally called that. Only later was it called Waichhaus or Weichhaus . After 1900 it was no longer run as a district. Since when the wasteland has been uninhabited cannot be clarified.
