In the Kasematten Wiener Neustadt the story of mobility was told, with Wiener Neustadt and its relationships with the region on a small scale and with the world on a large scale. In the Wiener Neustadt City Museum with St. Peter an der Sperr , Wiener Neustadt was presented in the mirror of world history, including the work of Emperor Friedrich III. and Maximilian I. On the basis of influential personalities, it was told how the former imperial residence developed into an industrial city and an innovation location.

In addition to the Austro-Daimler Sascha designed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1922 , the Corvinus beaker was also shown.

In addition to these two exhibition venues, the Theresian Military Academy gave guided tours into the former imperial residence, and the officer training program since it was founded by Maria Theresa .

The Neukloster Abbey also offered guided tours. The planned renovation work began at the beginning of 2018; 2.5 million euros were earmarked for this by autumn 2018. Among other things, barrier-free access to the church was built, as well as a footpath from the monastery garden to the military academy and a “room-in-room” solution made of glass for visiting the library. In addition, the east facade was renovated and the cross chapel and the baroque refectory were restored.
