World Heritage in the Cook Islands

On January 16, 2009, the Cook Islands deposited their instrument of ratification for the World Heritage Convention with UNESCO . The convention for the Cook Islands came into force on April 16, 2009. So far, however, the country has not submitted a tentative list to UNESCO and has therefore not nominated any candidates for UNESCO World Heritage .
