World Heritage in Mongolia
The world heritage in Mongolia (as of 2017) includes five UNESCO world heritage sites , including three world cultural heritage sites and two world natural heritage sites. The Mongolia joined the World Heritage Convention in 1990, the first World Heritage site was inscribed on the World Heritage List of 2003. The last World Heritage site to date was registered in 2017.

Otgon Tenger and Bogd Khan have been on the tentative list (Ref. 936 ) together with the Burchan Chaldun since 1996 , after its inclusion in the World Heritage (Ref. 1440 ) a new proposal with further mountains was submitted in 2014. |
