World Heritage in Tajikistan

The World Heritage in Tajikistan (as of 2018) includes two UNESCO World Heritage Sites , including a World Heritage Site and a World Natural Heritage Site. Tajikistan acceded to the World Heritage Convention in 1992, and the first World Heritage site was added to the World Heritage List in 2010. The last World Heritage site to date was registered in 2013.

World heritage sites

The following table lists the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Tajikistan in chronological order according to the year of their inclusion on the World Heritage List (K - cultural heritage, N - natural heritage, K / N - mixed, (R) - on the Red List of World Heritage in Danger ).

Tentative list

The sites that are intended for nomination for inclusion in the World Heritage List are entered in the tentative list . As of 2018, sixteen sites are entered in the tentative list of Tajikistan, the last entry was made in 2013. The following table lists the sites in chronological order according to the year they were included in the tentative list.

Sites of the Silk Road in Tajikistan
Fortress of Hissor
Sites of the Silk Road in Tajikistan 2013 K 5790 comprises 8 sites on the stretch of the Silk Road running through Tajikistan , including some proposals submitted as individual sites in 1999. Specifically, these are the ancient cities of Punjakent , Bundschikat , Takhti-Sangin and Khulbuk , the fortresses of Hissor and Yamtuch , the Buddhist monastery Adschina-Teppa and the Khoja-Mashad-Madrasa .
