World Heritage in Antigua and Barbuda

The World Heritage in Antigua and Barbuda (as of 2016) includes a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Antigua and Barbuda joined the World Heritage Convention in 1983, and the only World Heritage site to date was added to the World Heritage List in 2016.

2016 K 1499 Nelson's Dockyard is a historic port facility in English Harbor . The world heritage includes a group of buildings and facilities in the Georgian style. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the facility was considered the most important naval base in Great Britain in the Lesser Antilles .

Tentative list

The sites that are intended for nomination for inclusion in the World Heritage List are entered in the tentative list . Currently (2016) there is no site on the tentative list of Antigua and Barbuda. A previously registered site has already been included in the world heritage.
