World Heritage in Peru
The world heritage in Peru (as of 2016) includes twelve UNESCO world heritage sites , including eight world cultural heritage sites, two world natural heritage sites and two mixed cultural and natural heritage sites. Peru ratified the World Heritage Convention in 1982, and the first World Heritage site was added to the World Heritage List in 1983. The last World Heritage Site to date in Peru was registered in 2014, and one site is on the Red List of World Heritage in Danger .
