World Heritage in Ecuador
The World Heritage in Ecuador (as of 2016) includes five UNESCO World Heritage sites , including three World Heritage Sites and two World Natural Heritage sites. Ecuador joined the World Heritage Convention in 1975, and two World Heritage sites were among the first to open the World Heritage List in 1978. The last World Heritage site to date was registered in 2014.
