Wendy Benson-Landes ; Born Wendy Benson (born July 8, 1971 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress .

Life

Wendy Benson is the daughter of the well-known Scottish photographer Harry Benson and her sister is Tessa Benson, who also works as an actress.

After high school, she studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts at the Eugene O'Neill Center .

Numerous guest roles in US television series followed. For example, in 1993 she was seen in 2 episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 in the role of Darla Hanson . Other examples are Clueless - Die Chaos-Clique and Immer wieder Jim . However, Benson gained her greatest fame in Germany through the portrayal of Barbara Caufield in the sitcom Auf Schlimmer und Ewig . In the series, she embodies in 24 episodes the constant competitor of the preppy Tiffany Malloy , played by Nikki Cox and the object of desire for her brother Ryan Malloy , played by Kevin Connolly .
