Wenkendorf is a district of the city of Fehmarn in the north of the island of the same name.

The village has about 60 inhabitants, is surrounded by crooked fields and has kept its old rural character in the village interior.

Two kilometers to the north is Wenkendorfer Strand with two campsites. A popular surfing area is located on the 15–20 m wide, partly sandy and partly stony beach.

There is a bus connection to Burg auf Fehmarn and Orth about twice a day .
