Auersbach is a district of the city of Feldbach with 880 inhabitants (as of 2014) in the south-east of Styria in the district of Southeast Styria .
geography
Auersbach is located approx. 53 km east of Graz and approx. 6 km north of Feldbach in the Eastern Styrian hill country .

history
On January 1, 2015, the former municipality of Auersbach was merged with the municipalities of Feldbach , Gniebing-Weißenbach , Gossendorf , Leitersdorf im Raabtal , Mühldorf bei Feldbach and Raabau as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria . The new community bears the name "Feldbach".

The municipal coat of arms was awarded with effect from January 1, 1994.
Blazon : “In a black shield, a silver rafter with a river underlaid above the base of the shield; Rafters and river underlaid by two diverging silver stalks of grain growing from the middle of the lower edge of the shield with multiple ears, filling the whole shield. "
