Wilfried Sarrazin

Wilfried Sarrazin (born January 23, 1910 in the Schroda district ; † January 22, 1986 in Munich ) was a German diplomat and ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Uganda and South Korea .

Life

1935 Sarrazin was in Breslau for Doctor of Law doctorate . From 1954 to 1958 he was the German consul in Australia . First in Perth until 1956 , then in Melbourne . On August 6, 1959 Sarrazin married Sofie Luise Helene Elisabeth Jaceline Johanna Friederike Du Moulin-Eckart (born September 4, 1926). In 1962 he was employed in Department 161 of the Foreign Ministry. In 1963, Sarrazin, who at that time Counselor First Class was the first ambassador of the newly established German embassy in Kampala appointed (Uganda). He held this post until 1969. From 1969 until his retirement in January 1975 he was German ambassador in Seoul (South Korea).
