Wilfried Schwarz

Wilfried Schwarz (* 1937 in Finsterwalde ) is a German painter and teacher .

Live and act

Wilfried Schwarz was born in Finsterwalde in Lower Lusatia in 1937 . 1955 to 1960 he studied German language and literature and art education at the Humboldt University in Berlin . After the state examination he worked from 1960 to 1980 as a teacher for art education and German in Brandenburg (Havel) . In 1966, Schwarz was a speaker at the World Congress of Art Teachers in Prague . From 1974 to 1980 Wilfried Schwarz attended the district promotion class painting / graphics in Potsdam . His teachers were Gottfried Höfer and Wolfgang Liebert. From 1980 to 1990 he was Head of Culture / Art at the Volkshochschule (VHS) Brandenburg (Havel). After the reunification in the GDR , Schwarz was head of the cultural department in Brandenburg an der Havel from 1991 to 1993 and head of the VHS department from 1993 to 2001. He then retired , but continues to work as a lecturer at the adult education centers in Rathenow and Brandenburg an der Havel. He has lived in Rathenow since 2008.
