description

The small building is a massive quarry stone building with a half-timbered gable . The choir and roof turrets were built in a polygon shape . On the right outside of the chapel four old atonement crosses made of stone were moved from the Aschaffenburger Weg and attached here. They are memorials of bygone times (14th century).

The altar has two columns with a wooden panel between them depicting St. Wilgefortis. On it is an essay with putti from around 1780 as well as side figures of St. Wendelinus , St. Anthony of Padua and St. Lawrence and a votive picture . The gallery shows the coat of arms of the Cistercian abbess Antonia Hartz (1736–1774) from the former monastery Marienschloss near Rockenberg . There are other Wilgefortis representations in the area in the parish church of St. Hippolytus in Dettingen am Main , in the basilica in Seligenstadt and in the parish church of Wörth am Main .
