Willibald Moser

Willibald Moser (born June 20, 1934 in Rothenstadt ; † May 22, 2011 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Moser attended elementary school and high school in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate . After graduating from high school , he studied German , English and history at the University of Munich and the University of Erlangen . He passed the 1st and 2nd state exams for teaching and worked as a secondary school teacher. After Moser was employed at various schools in Bavaria from 1963 , he became a teacher for German and English at the state secondary school in Neustadt an der Waldnaab for four years in 1966 . He also gave lessons at the vocational school and at the telecolleg . He was promoted to the university council . In 1972 he became honorary district chairman of the Bavarian Realschule Teachers' Association.

From November 22, 1970 to October 13, 1994, Moser was a member of the Bavarian state parliament for the constituency of Upper Palatinate . Furthermore, he was a member of the Weiden City Council from 1972 to 1996, having moved up in 1972. Between 1985 and 1990 he was chairman of the city council of his party. In 1976 he became a member of the supervisory board of the municipal non-profit housing association Weiden.

Among other things, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit and the Bavarian Order of Merit. He also received honorary membership of the SPD.

He was a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Langobardia (Munich) Bayreuth.
