Wilson Tadeu Jönck

Wilson Tadeu Jönck SCI (born September 19, 1943 in Vidal Ramos ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Florianópolis .

Life

Wilson Tadeu Jönck joined the religious order of the Dehonian , made his profession on February 2, 1972 and the Bishop of Rio do Sul , Tito Buss , ordained him a priest on December 17, 1977 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro and titular bishop of Gemellae in Byzacena on June 11, 2003 . The Archbishop of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, Eusébio Oscar Cardinal Scheid SCI, donated him episcopal ordination on August 16 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Orlando Brandes , Archbishop of Londrina , and Tito Buss, Former Bishop of Rio do Sul. As a motto he chose MAXIMUS AMOR PRO AMICIS MORI .

On May 26, 2010 he was by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed Bishop of Tubarão and installed on July 18 of the same year. Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on September 28, 2011 Archbishop of Florianópolis.
