Vladimir Alexandrovich Matuchin

Vladimir Alexandrovich Matuchin (born September 1, 1960 in Leningrad ) is a Russian actor , drama teacher , theater teacher and director .

Life

After graduating from the Leningrad Theater Academy, Vladimir Alexandrowitsch Matuchin played in various theaters in Moscow and Saint Petersburg until the 1990s . Since October 1991 he has been working and living mainly in Germany . Through a contact with the American director Ernest Martin , who works at the Düsseldorf JuTA Theater , Matuchin got his first German-language theater role. In 1993 he founded his own theater group, the Pivo Theater . With this he staged Anton Chekhov's play The Bear and went on tour to Saint Petersburg and Kaliningrad . He also began to appear in German film and television productions, including SOKO Leipzig , Der Staatsanwalt and Verbotene Liebe . He also played a supporting role in David Cronenberg's movie A Dark Desire .

In addition, Matuchin made a name for himself as a private acting teacher. He worked as a lecturer in the Tanzhaus NRW "die werkstatt" (Düsseldorf). Known actors such as Alex Hugo , Dasha Trautwein , Orhan Okan , Friedrich Witte and Erkan Gündüz began her acting classes with Matuchin.

Matuchin lives in Düsseldorf , but also gives his acting seminars in other major German cities such as Cologne and Munich .
