Xavier Le Floch (born April 11, 1973 in Gourin ) is a former French triathlete and Ironman winner (2007). He is included in the best list of French triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

In 1999 Le Floch started the long distance for the first time at the Triathlon International de Nice and finished fourth.

In February 2007 he won the Ironman Malaysia and was runner-up in the long-distance triathlon world championship in July.

In 2008 he won one of the world's most difficult long-distance triathlon races with the Embrunman in the French Alps.

Le Floch was able to qualify four times for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii (Ironman World Championships) and achieved his best placement in October 2003 as the fastest Frenchman with the 14th place.

In 2010 he ended his activities as a professional triathlete and has been working as a coach and organizer since then.

Xavier Le Floch lives in Gourin, his birthplace.
