Yannis Becker (born January 12, 1991 in Rotenburg ) is a German soccer player who is active for the regional division BSV Rehden .

Career

Becker started playing football as a youth at VfL Sittensen . In 2003 he accepted an offer from Werder Bremen and from then on went through various Bremen youth teams. In the 2007/08 season he ran 24 times for the B-Juniors in the U-17 Bundesliga and scored two goals.

In the following two seasons he was active for the Bremen U-19 team in the U-19 Bundesliga and was used in a total of 48 games in which he scored four goals. In the 2008/09 season , the Bremen team won the North / Northeast relay, but then failed in the semifinals at the eventual German champions 1. FSV Mainz 05 .

For the 2010/11 season he moved up to the Bremen U-23 team, which was playing in the 3rd division at the time . He made his professional debut on July 24, 2010 (1st matchday) in the 0-1 defeat against SSV Jahn Regensburg . In his fourth game on September 11, 2010 (7th matchday) at VfB Stuttgart II , he scored his first goal in a 3-0 away win.

In early July 2011 he signed a two-year contract with the regional league team Stuttgarter Kickers . Since then, the defender had scored four goals in a total of 28 games in the Soccer Regionalliga Süd and with his performances helped the Stuttgarter Kickers share to the sovereign championship title and thus to promotion to the 3rd division.

In order to be able to take advantage of a scholarship at Fort Lewis College in Durango / Colorado (USA), Becker asked in July 2012 for an early termination of his contract, which the association agreed to. During his studies he played for the college team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association .

In January 2017 he then joined the Lower Saxon upper division club TB Uphusen , for whom he played until the end of the 2017/18 season.

He then followed his former coach Benedetto Muzzicato to his new club, the regional league team BSV Rehden . He left this again together with his coach after the 2018/19 season and then joined the regional league team FC Viktoria 1899 Berlin .
