Zátiší (German Haselbeint ) is a settlement in the Jenišov municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers east of Chodov and belongs to the Okres Karlovy Vary .

Zátiší is located in the Falkenau basin by the Chodovský brook. The Chomutov – Cheb railway runs through the village . In the south-west rises the former Loket spoil heap, under which the village of Podhoří used to be.

Neighboring towns are Jimlíkov in the north, Stará Role in the northeast, Počerny in the east, U Mlýna and Jenišov in the southeast, Hory in the south, Nové Sedlo , Chranišov and Na Cechu in the southwest, Mírová in the west and Božičany in the northwest.

history

Haselbeint originated as a farm in the 15th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial Haselbeint formed a district of the Janessen community in the Falkenau district from 1850 . In the 1860s, the Buschtěhrad Railway Company (BEB) built the railway line from Karlovy Vary to Eger , which was put into operation in 1870. At that time, lignite was mined in the vicinity of the village. From 1880 Haselbeint belonged as a district of Janessen to the Karlsbad district. In 1890 the village consisted of 13 houses and had 107 German-speaking residents. As a result of the Munich Agreement , Haselbeint was incorporated into the German Reich in 1938. From 1938 to 1945 the village was part of the German district of Karlsbad and came back to Czechoslovakia after the end of the Second World War. From 1949 to 1960 Zátiší belonged as part of Jenišov to the Okres Karlovy Vary-okolí. Since 1961 the place belongs to the Okres Karlovy Vary. From 1975 to 1990 Zátiší was incorporated into Karlovy Vary . Since 1990 the settlement belongs to the Jenišov municipality .
