Zack Ward (born August 31, 1970 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .

Career

He is best known for his role as Dave Scovil in the television series Titus and as the thug Scut Farkus in the movie Merry Christmas . He has also had many minor roles in many films such as Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story and has guest roles on the series Lost , CSI , Navy CIS and Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with Profile . He had a brief appearance as rock and roll legend Red Dog in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous . Ward was also in the horror films Resident Evil: Apocalypse , The Club , Hollywood Kills, and Freddy vs. Jason and in the movie BloodRayne II: Deliverance . He achieved his breakthrough with the films Postal , Trade - Willkommen in Amerika and Transformers .

In Germany he was also seen in the McDonald's TV commercial for the burger "M".

Private

Zack Ward is the son of Pam Hyatt and the brother of Carson Forster .
