Zamieście is a village in the Limanowski powiat of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the rural community of Tymbark and borders the former town of Tymbark .
geography
The place itself lies on the left bank of the Słopniczanka brook , which flows into the Łososina in Tymbark . The district of the village occupies the southeastern part of the municipality and borders on the district of the main town in the west and north. In the north, its area rises towards the summit of the 643 meter high Paproć, which belongs to the island Beskids .
Zamieście to include the east of Słopniczanka lying hamlets and districts Brodkówka, Góry Rysie, Malarzówka, Pasykówka, Podgóra, Przylaski, Puty, Skrzatki, Sołtystwo, Sowy, Tajdusie, Trybucówka and Zagroda.
history
The place belonged to the Starostei Tymbark, initially to the Kingdom of Poland (from 1569 aristocratic republic Poland-Lithuania ), Krakow Voivodeship , Powiat Szczyrzyc. When Poland was first partitioned in 1772, the area became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire (from 1804). From 1855 the region belonged to the Limanowa District . In 1885 the village had 45 houses and 259 inhabitants (118 men and 141 women). Large parts of the forest stand at the time (around 50%) were cut down.
Since 1919 the place has belonged again to Poland and from 1975 to 1998 to the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
