Zeisenbronn is a district of the town of Scheinfeld in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Central Franconia .

location

The village is about 3 km north of Scheinfeld, on the eastern slope of the Schwarzenberg Forest on the district road NEA 28 , which the NEA 20 meets in the village. The Gänsgraben rises in town and joins the Scheine just 3 km southwest from the left .

history

Zeisenbronn was first mentioned in 1405, in connection with the Schwarzenberger truce in the same year in the acquisition of the Schwarzenberg castle by Erkinger of Seinsheim . The place name comes from the Middle High German zeis (= tender, graceful).

The former district of the Schnodsenbach community was incorporated into Scheinfeld on January 1, 1972 as part of the municipal reform.

There are no monuments registered in the place.
