Zeki Ergezen

Zeki Ergezen (born December 2, 1949 in the Ahlat district, Bitlis province ) is a Turkish architect, politician and former Minister for Construction and Settlement.

He graduated from the State Academy of Engineering and Architecture. Ergezen was the provincial director of the Office for Construction and Settlement in the provinces of Bitlis and Mus . In the general directorate for village affairs he was the head of the section for construction and in the general directorate of the police Ergezen was head of the section for construction and land.

Zeki Ergezen is a founding member of Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (AKP). He was a Member of Parliament for Bitlis Province from the 19th to the 22nd legislative period of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey . In addition, he was elected a member of the secretariat of the Presidential Council of Parliament in the 20th legislative period and was also a member of the joint parliamentary committee of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (KEİPA). In the 58th government ( Gül cabinet ) he was Minister for Construction and Settlement.

Ergezen is married and has four children.
