The central bus station Lübbecke (short: Lübbecke ZOB) is the bus station of the North Rhine-Westphalian city ​​of Lübbecke in the Minden-Lübbecke district . After extensive renovation work, it was reopened in June 2012 and has since served as a hub for bus routes from the surrounding cities.

history

After the bus station was closed for extensive renovations, construction work took place from September 2011 to July 2012, during which the bus platforms were renewed and enlarged. In addition, more seating options have been created, more canopies have been provided for passengers and barrier-free access has been ensured. The bicycle parking spaces have also been renewed and enlarged. After the construction work was completed and the bus station opened in June 2012, it serves as the end point of many regional bus routes that connect Lübbecke with surrounding towns and cities.

The Lübbeck bus station is centrally located in the city center, near Langen Strasse, on Niederwall. It has an exit and an entrance, both of which are at Papendiek, which goes around the bus station. There are also two short-term parking spaces for buses.

With the exception of the connection to Bünde , all bus lines are served by the Mindener Kreisbahnen , also called "Mühlenkreisbus", which use modern low-floor buses . On the connections from Preußisch Oldendorf and Minden to Lübbecke there are regular buses directly via Lübbecke from Minden ZOB to Preußisch Oldendorf city center. Also on the connection to Schnathorst , buses of the 614 run directly from Lübbecke to Bad Oeynhausen .
