Civil courage award of the CSD Berlin

The CSD Berlin's moral courage award is given to special merits in the equality of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and trans people ( LGBT ). In addition, the award is also intended to convey content in the fight for equality for LGBT people.

Since 2001, the award has been given to two to five people or organizations every year. The prize is awarded by the Berliner CSD eV association and is ceremoniously presented at the CSD Berlin organized by the association . The award is made every year under a different guiding theme.
