Zollchow is a district of the municipality Milower Land in Havelland in Brandenburg . The districts of Galm and Grille belong to Zollchow.
Geography and transport links
Zollchow is on the K 6319 directly on the western border with Saxony-Anhalt . The B 188 runs north.
history
On September 30, 1928, the main part of the manor district of Zollchow was combined with the rural community of Zollchow and the 183 hectare exclave of the manor district in the district of Vieritz with the rural community of Vieritz. On the same day, the Galm estate was also united with the rural community of Zollchow.
The place belonged to the Soviet occupation zone from 1945 . The property of the von Katte family was expropriated in the same year through the land reform and the castle, in which the future freedom hero Friedrich von Katte was born in 1770 , was torn down in 1948 according to the Soviet SMAD order No. 209 . On July 1, 1950, the previously independent community of Schmetzdorf was incorporated.

- The Protestant village church Zollchow (Lindenstrasse 15) probably dates from the first half of the 13th century, it was renewed in the 18th century. After a fire, the tower and the western part of the church were added between 1847 and 1849. The altarpiece and the pulpit date from the 18th century. The organ prospectus was built in 1764.
