Zomba ( Eng .: Sombach ) is a Hungarian municipality in the Bonyhád district in Tolna County . It is located about twelve kilometers northwest of Szekszárd and has 2,065 inhabitants (as of 2011).
history
A settlement is said to have been here as early as Roman times. In 1015 King Stefan I gave the place to the Pécsvárad Abbey . In the 18th century, Lutheran Protestants expelled from this place founded the town of Orosháza in Békés County .
