Neos (airline)
Neos is an airline based in Milan in Italy. It operates leisure flights to southern Europe, Russia, Africa, Middle East, Far East, the Caribbean, Mexico and Brazil. Its main base is Malpensa International Airport, Milan, with hubs at Bologna Airport and Verona Airport.[1]

History
Neos was established on 22 June 2001 and started operations on 8 March 2002. It was started as a joint venture between Alpitour parent firm Finanziaria di Partecipazioni (IFIL), which is controlled by the Agnelli Group and the German tour operator, TUI. Since January 2004, Neos has been controlled by Alpitour (99.99%) and Welcome Travel Group (0.01%). It has 330 employees (at March 2007).[1]
Destinations
On November 4, 2005 the airline started 4 weekly flights from Milan-Malpensa to Cuban resorts of Havana, Varadero, Santiago de Cuba, Cayo Largo and Varadero and Montego Bay.[3]
