Showcase Cinemas is the name given to some of the cinemas owned by National Amusements of Dedham, Massachusetts, USA. The company was one of the first to open multiplex cinemas in the United Kingdom in the 1980s; it now operates 19 cinemas across the UK.

Showcase Cinemas is owned and operated by National Amusements, a privately held company, that supports community activities. Showcase Cinemas develops promotions and events to raise money and awareness for both local and regional organizations.

National Amusements, based in Dedham, Massachusetts, ranks among the top exhibitors in the world, operating more than 1,354 indoor screens in the United States, United Kingdom and Latin America. The Showcase Cinemas brand also plans to expand by opening IMAX sites in the UK, as this was announced by National Amusements.

Showcase Cinemas also have a new Cinema de Lux brand that aims to 'redefine the cinema experience by bringing together the latest films and events, contemporary dining, impeccable service and a full range of distinctive amenities'. There are currently plans to open one in Leicester (in Highcross Leicester and opens 4th September 2008, Bristol (in Cabot Circus and opens 25th September 2008). Cinema De Lux, Derby (in Westfield Derby) opened 16th May 2008.
