(100604) Lundy is an asteroid of the main middle belt discovered by the Belgian astronomer Thierry Pauwels on September 11, 1997 at the Royal Observatory of Belgium ( IAU code 012) in Uccle .

According to the SMASS classification ( Small Main-Belt Asteroid Spectroscopic Survey ), a spectroscopic study by Gianluca Masi , Sergio Foglia and Richard P. Binzel at (100604) Lundy assumed a bright surface, so it could, roughly speaking, be trade an S asteroid .

The asteroid was named after Lundy , an island in the Bristol Channel in Great Britain . It was named on November 28, 2010.
