(2188) Orlenok ( 1976 UL 4 ; 1931 TF 4 ; 1950 ND ; 1963 DE ; 1969 HB ; 1979 HU ; A909 EA ) is an asteroid of the main outer belt discovered by the Ukrainian - Soviet astronomer Lyudmyla Shuravlowa on October 28, 1976 in Crimea -Observatorium at Nautschnyj on the peninsula of Crimea ( IAU code was discovered 095). The asteroid belongs to the Koronis family, a group of asteroids named after (158) Koronis .
designation
(2188) Orlenok was named after the children's center Orljonok near Tuapse in the Krasnodar region in Russia on the occasion of the 20th pioneer camp of the youth organization of the pioneer organization Vladimir Ilyich Lenin .
